
Metcore Certification Scheme
Metcore has been accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) as a certification body for mass flow metering.
Our certification Scheme makes reference to SS 648, ISO 22192 and OIML R117, with particular consideration of ISO/IEC 17065 requirements to ensure an impartial approach in evaluating the MFM system. The methodology enabled Metcore to advocate and apply the common industrial-driven “Standards and Conformance” type of framework directly to the bunkering industry.

Scope of accreditation by SAC focus on the following certification Schemes:

Interested clients, especially the owners and users of bunker tankers may apply to our certification Scheme via an application form to Metcore’s Test & Certification team. A detailed guide on the selection of mass flow meter and associated devices has been prepared to facilitate tankers owners and users to understand and apply the pre-requisite of meter performance, functionality and installation provision. Other information relating to the certification process can be provided for reference.
Metcore’s certification scheme entails performance evaluation of the MFM system in accordance to the above mentioned standards. All certified MFM systems installed in their respective bunker vessel can be found in the Certification Register.

* Certification of the MFM systems for Marine Charge (SGP‑2024‑09) and Gos Maria (MYS‑2024‑11) has been terminated by the applicants. Accordingly, the CoCs are invalid and shall not be represented or referenced. Any security seals present on the MFM system or pipeline no longer indicate certification or conformity under Metcore’s ISO/IEC 17065 certification scheme.
